Day 81: #SunriseProject

June 15, 2020
Sunrise: 5:34am MDT
Photo taken from the Fraser-to-Granby Trail in Fraser, Colorado at 5:33am.

Sometimes it’s hard to capture it all.

When you stand in the middle of the Fraser Valley, you are surrounded by mountains.

You can see Devil’s Thumb, James Peak, Parry Peak, Eva, Flora, Winter Park Resort, Byers Peak, and Sheep Mountain just by slowly spinning in a circle.

It reminds me of how big nature is.

That she’s always in control.

Even if we don’t feel her work on a daily basis.

Ultimately, she wins.

(Like in that documentary, Life After People, which seems equally fascinating and ridiculously depressing.)
