Day 100: #SunriseProject

July 4, 2020
Sunrise: 5:40am MDT
Photo taken from a dead-end trail off of the Fraser River Trail in Fraser, Colorado at 5:46am MDT.

Complete.

For the past 100 days, David and I have gotten up every morning to take a picture of the sunrise (or make a picture at sunrise time).

When I started this project, I expected that all the sunrises would be extremely colorful and vibrant.

But I quickly learned that’s not how things work.

Sometimes there are colors…

...and sometimes there are not.

Sometimes it seems like there is no sunrise at all.

Everyday, we headed out, not knowing what we were going to get.

The goal was the practice…

...the practice of getting up everyday, of sharing the best photo I got that day, and not giving up if I didn’t capture the BEST photo ever.

To all of you who followed along, THANK YOU SO MUCH for all of your support.

Here’s to whatever comes next!
